The electric pressure cooker with sauté function is so different from conventional cookers that it is hard to explain. The electric pressure cooker looks like any other electric cooker on the outside. What’s different are its components: a housing made of stainless steel; a heating element; and a fat-removal system which is activated by a sensor. The sensor contains two components: an infrared thermometer and a timer. The new electric pressure cooker with sauté function is equipped with a timer that automatically begins counting down the time and temperature setting when the lid is closed. The electric pressure cooker doesn’t have to be taken off the stove, as it comes with an automatic switch that turns itself off.

After opening the lid of the electric pressure cooker, you place any food to be cooked inside and close it again. Then you press start. The digital display will show a timer counting down to 40 minutes; at this moment, the sauté function has not yet been started and therefore no food will be cooked inside.
